VI golf tournament for the Down Syndrom
Like every year, this tournament will be celebrated next saturday 26th november in Miraflores Golf Club. It is becoming a great classic in this club and each time it is getting more acceptance of the public.
This charity tournament celebrated with the support of the “Asociación Síndorme de Down de Málaga”, has the unique objective of collecting money for this organization, that makes people become more conscious of the illness and to make it more present in our society and each of its sectors.
Last year, they collected 8.000€, thanks to the Golf Club Miraflores, members and trading partners, who unselfishly contributed to the tournament and to a raffle in the awards presentation. This year, we are optimistic and we will try to exceed this amount, because it is so necessary to this organization to help the affected people.
This tournament began to collect money to integrate affected people by this syndrome in the society, to develop their capacities and to be as autonomous as possible.
The « Asociation de Sindrome de Down de Málaga » counts on this tournament, in order to find new ways to finance the association, because golf is very important in our country and this sport has a lot of fans. Finally the association is so grateful to those who unselfishly support its work.
